In the Angus Growers and Angus Soft Fruits Tent, Ethical & Sustainability Manager for Angus Soft Fruits Catherine Russell leads a talk on the role that farms can play in the sustainability of land and farming. Topics will include:

Catherine Russell is the Ethical and Sustainability Manager at Angus Soft Fruits. Her key areas of focus are reducing carbon emissions, managing food waste, responsible packaging, and having a positive impact on biodiversity. Before starting at Angus Soft Fruits, Catherine completed the MDS Graduate Scheme and did four six-month placements at different companies in the fresh produce industry. Catherine now has a PhD in food science, which was completed at Heriot-Watt University.
