24 April 2019
In November 2018, over 30 stakeholders attended a meeting at Forbes of Kingennie to discuss the review of the Angus Tourism Framework. A steering group was formed with representatives from Angus Council, VisitScotland, the Angus Tourism Cooperative and tourism businesses and organisations across a variety of sectors.
The following strategic priorities have been identified;
- Industry Leadership and Collaboration
- Pride of Place
- Data and Insights
- Product and Experience Development
- Marketing
The Framework covers a five year period, 2019-2024, with a 12-month action plan.
The Angus Tourism Cooperative will play a key role in the delivery of the new tourism framework, and is keen to share the framework with everyone involved in tourism in Angus.
Please come along to Hospitalfield on the 24 April to find out more about the plans, meet the steering group and find out how you can get involved.
