Youth Arts Fund Angus

Angus Place Partnership with Hospitalfield are delivering this funding and the second round is now open!

Funded by the Scottish Government’s Youth Arts Fund through Creative Scotland.

Deadline for applications is midnight on Monday 4 October!

 

This pot of money is available to any young person aged 14-25 who lives in Angus and is passionate about being creative.

Would you like money to learn something related to your art and creative interests?

Or to try something creative for the first time?

Make something new or bigger or more ambitious? Or put on an exhibition or a show? You might have a creative summer project in mind? You might want to work on a project with others as a group? You might want to get creative and make something to improve the area where you live?

This is open to support a wide variety of creative activity including and not limited to:

Visual art, drama, dance, filmmaking, photography, music, DJ, crafts, ceramics, gardening, cake decorating, podcasting, graphic design, architecture, model making, carpentry, fashion, textiles, jewellery, gardening, or anything else creative!

Applicants will be notified of the outcome by Monday 11 October.

How To Apply

You are 14- 25 yrs

You live in Angus

You can apply for a grant from £100 all the way up to £1,000

The amount of funds that you request is going to be tailored to what you need, so its your choice!

 

In the electronic application form we ask for a basic list of items and prices for what you are requesting funds for. If you would like help with knowing the best place to find materials, supplies and equipment we can send you some advice.

What Happens Next?

Once the deadline has ended on Monday 4 October:

  • A selection panel made up of culture sector professionals, Youth Leader and members of our Youth Panel will meet to award the grants.
  • You will be notified of the decision by 11 October.
  • If your application is successful:

You will receive a notification email with a grant offer. You will then need to submit to us a recent bank statement of the bank account where the funds will be paid into.

Nurturing Talent grants can only be issued into a bank account as a bank transfer. No other methods of payment ie: cash or cheque is permitted.

Aims:

  • Support youth arts and ensure creative opportunities for children and young people continue to exist across Scotland despite the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Enable young people to achieve their potential in or through youth arts
  • Support the development of the youth arts sector for the benefit of young people
