During the Summer of 2020 the Free Drawing School moved online. A different artist was invited each week to design the weekly challenge for you to join in with.
All our activities are designed to be done at home with the resources you can bring together from your drawers and cupboards. Why not give one a try?

In Summer 2021 Hospitalfield commission two artists to create a family activity pack for visitors to use around Hospitalfield inspired by the historic house and the grounds. Laura Darling designed two drawing activity sheets that connected young people to the garden and the environment, asking them to imagine underground worlds and draw through observation. in August Dundee based artist Rhona Jack devised a loom weaving activity based on the tapestries held in Hospitalfield’s collection. This helped families engage with Hospitalfield in a fun and independent way and to work together on something creative.
