From 31 March: Weekly tours of Hospitalfield House, Mortuary Chapel and Garden

From April to October you can join our regular weekly tours of Hospitalfield House, the Mortuary Chapel and the Walled Gardens and Fernery. The Café is open Thursday – Sunday 10am – 4pm.

So come and spend a day at Hospitalfield…

Hospitalfield House is a 19th century Arts & Crafts house, yet the site itself has many layers of history; from the 13th century hospital built by the Benedictine order of monks who established Arbroath Abbey, to the Art School established at the beginning of the 20th century. Tours give an insight in to this history with a focus on the 19th century and the legacy left by the artist Patrick Allan Fraser and his wife Elizabeth.

More info on our arts programme in 2022 coming soon.
