Echo in the Dark: A new work in progress by Hanna Tuulikki
Take Part: 22 September – 29 October

The artist Hanna Tuulikki is working with Hospitalfield to make a new work for presentation in 2022. As we work with her on the commission we are asking you to work with us to make sound recordings this Autumn of UK bat species. These recordings will then become part of Tuulikki’s sound work Echo in the Dark.

Join us at Hospitalfield this Autumn to learn more about the ecology around us. Sign up to learn how to make your own recordings of bat echolocation sounds, then borrow the equipment and see what you can record over the coming few weeks before the bats go in to hibernation.
