Heritage Tour of Hospitalfield House Interior and Collections

Every Wednesday, 2:00pm-4:00pm, from April to September, and monthly over the winter.

An opportunity for an in depth tour of Hospitalfield House, led by one of our experienced volunteer guides. This tour gives a chance to learn about the history, people and collections at Hospitalfield.

£9 per person.

During the winter, the Heritage Tour of Hospitalfield House Interior and Collections runs on the first Wednesday of the month: 7 February and 7 March in 2018.

From April to September we run the Heritage Tour of Hospitalfield House Interior and Collections every Wednesday at 2pm.

Architecture & Garden Tour

Every Saturday, 2:00pm-3:00pm, 19 May–29 September 2018

An opportunity for an in depth tour of the exterior architecture of Hospitalfield and the Walled Gardens. Led by our volunteer tour guides, the tour will take in the perimeter of Hospitalfield House, the Walled Garden and the back court yards, providing a detailed overview of the site’s history from its founding by the church, it’s life as a home, and its contemporary use and future plans as a space for artists.

£9 per person. Tickets can be purchased from the Garden Cafe.

Each Saturday at 2pm until September.

The Garden Café is also open on Saturdays until September from 11am – 4pm.

Meander: Woodland & Walled Garden Walk

Every Wednesday 12:00pm-12:30pm

Weekly walk around Hospitalfield’s beautiful woodland pathways and walled garden. Part of Meander, the walk is suitable for all abilities with adjustable routes and lengths to suit preferences. Supported by Paths for All, Hospitalfield is working towards dementia friendly accreditation for this walk. Staff trained as Dementia Friends are available to support walkers.

No booking required.

 


Meander connects Hospitalfield to local landscapes through walking – exploring themes of growing, cooking, eating, art and heritage. Promoting well-being through walking and cultivating a place where people can enjoy being active at their own pace.
